Vintage South Nashville: "Just Right In Every Season"
Someone posted this over at the 16th District Facebook page with the explanation that this Gulf station was located where a White Castle is now at the corner of Nolensville Rd & Thompson Lane. Did you know there used to be a Kroger at this intersection (see background)? The date on it indicates that this was taken in December 1963.

The Kroger building is still there, just repurposed for the Nissan dealership.

I didn't even know Kroger had been around that long as a company, much less in Nashville.
